Are you new to the six word story? If so, no worries. It’s exactly what it sounds like. A beginning, middle, and end of a story in exactly six words, not counting a title if you choose to use one. Which six words capture a story and help the reader imagine a lifetime, a struggle, an adventure, a triumph, a laugh?

Here’s my Six-Word-Story: ‘Her soul echoed distant whispers beautifully’. It is kind of a reply to your story. The he said/she said version. I just imagined a couple, living in a haunted house, where ‘he’ sees the ghosts, whereas ‘she’ hears them and they speak through her. I have a whole scenario in my head here… maybe I shouldn’t have had that extra coffee! Thanks as always for putting these weekly challenges up, I really enjoy them.
